The University of Southampton is a world-class university in the South of England. It has an excellent reputation, particularly for engineering and medicine. The University wanted an innovative digital experience to allow potential students all over the world to learn about the university and its world-class facilities. It also had to be a seamless experience across desktop, tablet and mobile.
Working with the Google StreetView API we created a 360-degree tour. But that was just for starters. To make it even more interactive and immersive, we also embedded markers that enabled users to launch additional content and find out more.
